ARENA FOOTBALL
PLAYMAIN TOOL

The football playmain tool is used for testing the logic of the players. It is used in conjuction with the playbook of 78 (0-77) offensive plays and 28 (0-27) defensive plays. The offensive play diagrams are self explanatory.

The defensive plays are all diagrammed in terms of zones. Each play diagram is broken into three zones: short ( 0 - 10 yds from the line of scrimmage), Deep ( 9 - 19 yds ), and Long ( 15 to 25+ yds from the line of scrimmage). The players cover their corresponding zones unless a man-to-man coverage is otherwise noted. For instance, on defensive play number 3 defensive back 2 (DB2) is covering wide receiver 2 (WR2) with man-to-man coverage; DB1 and DB3 are covering the two deep zones.

In the playmain tool you will notice different colors representing each player:
	Offense:
	Lt. Blue - Quarterback
	Grey - Wide Receiver 1 (WR1)
	White - Wide Receiver 2 (WR2)
	Royal Blue	- Wide Receiver 3 (WR3)
Dk Blue - Line Men and Full Back

	Defense:
Lt Blue - Free Line Backer Mac (LBM)
	Purple - Defensive Back 1 (DB1)
	Yellow - Defensive Back 2 (DB2)
	Pink - Defensive Back 3 (DB3)
Brown - Line Men and Line Backer Jill (LBJ)
